CJ took me from a strong gym dude to a national champion in less than a year. We have put close to 200 lbs on my total and he has fixed all of my form. He made sure I was healthy and always safe during my lifts. Without him, my dreams of being the top of this sport would have not been possible. His athlete care during prep and in a meet is if off the charts. I am beyond impressed with his ability and knowledge of lifting and athletics. I wouldn't trade it for the world.

I am one of CJ's powerlifting athletes, and to say that he is just a "good coach" is very much an understatement. When I first started my powerlifting journey, I was intimidated by how technical the lifts were, and it made me feel like I would never have confidence lifting around other powerlifters. I also like to overanalyze a lot of things, and I had this concern that finding a coach that was just as detail-oriented as I was would be a challenge. Well, I'm happy to say I found that coach, and that coach is CJ. The knowledge that CJ has for powerlifting and fitness as a whole is incredible. He is very in-depth with his coaching, and he is always very detailed in corrections. One of my favorite parts about him is that he always has an answer to whatever questions I ask. Even if he doesn't have an answer in that moment, he will go out of his way to research and dig for that answer. He is also very communicative, and always sends out programs, corrections, or whatever they may be, in a very timely manner. If he expects any delays in that, he always does a good job of communicating that with his athletes. Regarding meet day handling, CJ always makes sure you are taken care of. When CJ handles me, I don't even have to think. CJ handles everything behind the scenes, and makes the experience as simple as possible so I can just lock in for my lifts. CJ is also your biggest advocate on meet day. If something happens, CJ will advocate as hard as he can for you. He never lets his athletes get stepped on. I highly recommend CJ for any of your fitness needs. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and communicative with all of his athletes. I look forward to more growth in my powerlifting journey under CJ's coaching.

I cannot emphasize enough just how incredible of a powerlifting coach CJ truly is. From the moment I began my journey with him, my lifting game has changed in many ways for the better. He taught me how to sumo deadlift in the correct way as I had no clue what I was doing. He possesses an in depth knowledge of lifting techniques, nutrition and periodization that is highly effective. Under his guidance, my strength has had a remarkable improvement, and also my physical and mental well being. CJ's personalized training plans are meticulously crafted to suit your unique strengths and weaknesses, ensuring that you not only reach your goals but exceed them. CJ knows exactly when to push you past your limits and when to offer that extra bit of encouragement to keep you going. He prioritizes proper form and technique above all else, ensuring that you lift with precision and reduce the risk of injury. I believe that if you're looking for a powerlifting coach who will not only help you reach your goals but also inspire you to set new ones, CJ is the coach you've been searching for.

I’ve been training with CJ since early 2022, and he’s been an awesome coach the entire time. My goal going into working with CJ was to prepare effectively for my first powerlifting competition and improve on every lift, and we did just that. I had little experience training like a powerlifter prior to being coached by him, but I learned lots about proper programming, load management, and recovery from him. CJ also did a great job of pushing me and keeping me on track towards my goals, but he was also very receptive to any feedback or worries I had. On top of his wealth of knowledge, CJ also displayed great professionalism by being quick to respond to any questions I had and consistently delivering my weekly programs. When it came time to competition day, CJ made the experience so easy and smooth for me, and I truly could not have finished first in my class without his help. If you’re looking to get into powerlifting or just looking for a new coach, I highly recommend CJ.

In working with CJ my goal primarily has been to retain and build muscle and strength. But we also set a special goal for me to be able to bench press "two plates" (225 pounds) by my 63rd birthday which was coming up in just a few months. At the time this seemed beyond my imagination as I had done weight training on and off most of my life and never came anywhere near to accomplishing that. Importantly, CJ's attentiveness and expertise is greater than I've ever seen. He plans workouts thoughtfully, coaches on technique, and pays attention to the little things that make a big difference in avoiding injury and achieving success. The week of my birthday finally arrived. And after months of weight training blocks. I not only lifted 225, but also lifted 235! I look forward to continued progress under CJ's guidance. FH, 63 and going strong

Having CJ as a coach has allowed me to push past the limits of what I know as an athlete, and expand upon every aspect of the sport. The biggest thing that stands out to me about CJs coaching is how personalized his coaching is. He takes every little detail about you as an athlete and implements it into his programming. If I have a question, I never struggle to ask because I know I will get back an honest and truthful answer. CJ notices things in my training that I could never, and that is one of the reasons he is such a great coach. He takes time to study his athletes. Recently I switched federations and he has been studying/reading up on the rules, training style, and programming of what works with me being in a different style of powerlifting. When it comes to coaching, these are some of the main reasons i’ve chosen to put my trust in CJ as a coach. I tell CJ my goals, and he helps me get there in ways that without him, would never even cross my mind. I am more than happy to call myself a member of his team.
